Download the OCN setup.

The OCN Setup will check a Windows 95/98/NT40 machine for the proper setup, and configure your dial-up networking for a connection to the internet. You must to download both "ocn.exe" and "ocn.oid". After downloading double click on the "ocn.exe". This requires the Windows system CD to be in the CR-Rom drive.
please note: This software is still in beta, so please report any problems you may incounter.
ocn.exe The Setup Application.
ocn.oid The data file for ocn.exe. You will need to click on this file with your "right" mouse button, and select "Save as" from the pop-up menu.

For Macintosh users; you already have everything you need for internet access. Use the following settings for your PPP and tcp configuration.
Server Assigned IP Address: yes
Use default gateway on remote host: yes
Primary DNS (Domain Name Server):   208.32.6.20
Secondary DNS (Domain Name Server): 208.32.6.30

The access phone number: 298-9330

Download your Netscape Communicator.

You can just click on these links and it should take you there.
 (If you are using Internet Explorer. Click the right mouse button and select save)
 (If you are using Netscape, hold down the shift key while you left click on the file name)

Win95/98/NTcc32e47.exe 14.2M 1.5hrs@28.8Kbps

After downloading the cc32e47.exe file just double click on the cc32e47.exe to start it . It will do everything else for you.

If you have problems downloading then go to the directory, and select the file you want. If you do not understand this then you probally do not need to be there.

Weather you are installing Mac or Win; when you first start the Netscape Communicator it will ask you some questions about your identity and email account:
NOTE: Please read carefully all fields, if it ask for your username DO NOT put your email address.

Your outgoing mail server is :     mail.ocdirect.net

Your incoming mail server is:     mail.ocdirect.net

Your email address is : your_username@ohiocounty.net(ie phantom@ocdirect.net)

You do not have "News" or a "Group" server if the install asks for one just click "Next".
